“With 2016 coming to a close and the hospitality industry gearing up for the festive peak season, we prepare for our busiest time of year,” said CEO Jacqui Elliot.

We also share festive wishes from team members from all our hotels.

At The Marine, in Hermanus we had some exciting changes and additions, a refurbishment that has transformed some of our guest bathrooms and guest rooms across the hotel, as well as the opening of our new restaurant, Origins in November. In Executive Chef Peter Tempelhoff's words “We are very excited to launch this new restaurant where indigenous and endemic ingredients have been brought together to create a menu that respects the local cultures and the region’s flavours”.

In the Mother City at The Cellars-Hohenort we have reason to celebrate and congratulate Executive Chef Peter Tempelhoff and Greenhouse team for the recent Eat Out Awards, firstly for cooking; Atlantic gamefish, coastal plants, octopus ink, dune spinach, kohlrabi and kelp salad for over 700 people and for also achieving 7th place in the Top 10 restaurants in South Africa.

Other updates at The Cellars-Hohenort includes; a re-invention of the menu at The Conservatory and the introduction a Low Carb High Tea which has already proved to be extremely popular with both in-house guests and health conscience locals.
